Benefits of Coconut Oil in Shaving Cream
How to Shave with Sensitive Skin
I have had a chrome stand for at least 5 years. No rust no tarnishing, always wipes clean. So I bought this one for my son. Black matches his brush and brass razor. Don’t store your brush with bristles up, rots the bristles in the handle, shortens the life of your brush! Quality made!
I have another Royal Shave Badger Brush. I love it, and have no disappointments with it! This one is for my son, passing on the tradition! I wouldn’t do that if it wasn’t a great brush!
This refill is great, with excellent lather that goes on smooth. The lemon sandalwood aroma is very nice and I love the way it shaves off, leaving my skin smooth, supple and great smelling. Fits my Royal shave bowl perfectly!
Great strop quality yet the illustration on sight is somewhat confusing... showing of frontal blade going (pointed) towards you not the back for sharpening. Checkout other sights for proper sharpening.
Taylor of Old Bond Street Luxury Shaving Cream Bowl, 5.3 fl oz
bought this for my mustache and it's excellent for that. If you want it for a beard brush it may be a bit small, but is nearly perfect for mustaches. The bristles are fairly stiff which is my preference, but may not be for everyone. Overall I highly recommend it for mustaches.
I’ve been using Victory Super Dry for a while now, love it. The hold is enough for most things. Feels natural. But if the wind blows it’s destroyed. The Uppercut hair clay has what I need. Definitely more holding power. Super thick to put on so be ware. It’s like playing with tree sap but once you spread it, low sheen, great holding power, last all day and you can re arm it in the morning if needed with a few strokes and a little water. I will say it is a bitch to get out. Scrubbing with shampoo for a little bit for sure. Other than that, I still roll my Victory Super dry most days or under a hat. But when I’m rollin hard on a night out or playing sports, Upper Cut fo shizzle. If you want natural looking holding power with out the hairspray, gel clump and shine, this is what you need. Just a finger nail worth and you’re good to go like a Taco Bell crunch wrap supreme.
Bought as a replacement because I think this is the best, Best Badger brush.
I'm new to the Wet Shave world and started off with a safety razor from Walmart. I found good reviews of this beauty and decided it was worth it. Glad I did. Paired with some good blades this thing is butter smooth and leaves me with no bumps or roughness. 10/10
Derby Extra Super Stainless Double Edge Blades, 5-Pack
Folds nice and compact and makes my mustache look perfect. I recommend!
I really love this thing, it's my new go-to shaving mug. It helps create a perfect lather that I wasn't getting with the previous bowls I was using. If I had to criticize anything it would just be that it's like any traditional drinking mug: the walls are a little high. So if you're using a short brush then you might have a hard time creating a lather because you'll have restricted movement. I used a large horse hair brush and I found it to be perfect for my needs; I actually prefer the higher walls because it helps keep the lather contained within the mug. It doesn't fly out and land everywhere. I recommend!
I use this comb everyday and it works great! Well made and super cool looking too. Love it!
Merkur 20C Safety Razor- Long Black Resin Handle
I reached out to Royal Shave about ten years ago for a recommendation. After asking me a few questions about my shaving habits, they steered me toward this short-handled Merkur. It's been great, and it still works. If you keep up with scale on the threads (I live in a limestone hard water area) yours will last for many years, I'm sure. Rinsing channels are a great feature. Easy to travel with, too.
