Maybe a little aggressive for a newbie

Well, I'm a total newcomer to this method of shaving. I'm enjoying it. These are MUCH sharper than the blades that came with my starter kit. I can't see my shave getting any closer than it is, but it is definitely easier to knick yourself too.

    Good, sharp blades

These are sharp, high-quality blades that work well for me in a medium-aggressive razor (Merkur 33C). I withhold the fifth star only because a blade will occasionally shave rather rough and I'll discard it. This is fewer than one in twenty, which is not a big deal.

    Nice blade

I was a little afraid of these from all the reviews from people who cut themselves, so I prepared my face properly (preshave oil and such) and found these blades worked just fine. Nice clean smooth shave. As with any good blade you shouldn't press it hard against your skin. Let the blade do the work. I suspect most nicks come from pressing to hard.
Don't be afraid to try these, they work nice.
