I'm really picky about the edges on my straight razors, so I did a little prep on this before using it. However, it holds the edge well and is a great investment for the money. I true utility razor that still has a little style.

I have both the 6/8, and the 5/8, love them both, but the 6/8 just feels better in the hand, a little more heft. I found the blades to be adequately shave ready (with stropping), but you'll probably want to send them out for some refinement. Don't trust the "factory certified" ready to shave. Pulled every whisker from my beard.
