Truefitt and Hill Luxury Shaving Soap in Wooden Bowl

I had been happy with Truefitt and Hill's shave cream for years. Various online reviews of shaving soaps in general had kept me from trying T&F soaps. But I went ahead with their soap to see firsthand. T&F's package instructions say use very short strokes to soap your brush. Listen to them, other reviews mislead. Their soap gives a much closer, slicker, and more pleasurable shave than their excellent creams. I keep delaying finishing the cream I have because the soap is so much better. Also brush and face wash out far more easily than their cream, the soap leaves my skin feeling a lot cleaner. I use it with a Feather razor and blade. Maybe Truefitt and Hill will offer a Trafalgar scented soap? But their very refined 1805, which I had never tried, is quite nice.

I used to have to order this directly because RoyalShave never carried it before. Something really refreshing about the Sandalwood scent from Truefitt and Hill. The other brands have a weird, musky sandalwood scent that the wife hates so this is definitely a keeper
