Not nearly as sharp as I hoped it would be.

I received the razor for Christmas. When I tried to trim my beard and mustache with it I was having a hard time due to the blade not cutting the hairs. I thought I was doing something wrong, but the blades are not sharp enough to cut thick beard hairs. I have not used it for eyebrow trimming yet, which it may work better for. I checked for other brands of blades for the razor, but I haven't located any yet to try out. If the blades cut the beard hairs, this would be an ideal razor to have.

i got a role in a mobster movie and really wanted to get into character - i picked up a straight razor, safety razor, strop, shaving brush - the whole nine yards. i didn't really know what to make of this item, but it definitely seemed interesting. it keeps the eyebrows in check (i don't use it on my moustache) and very nicely groomed with a little bit of wax and it's all good. i agree with the reviewer below, but i find that it's a little easier to get a cut on the eyebrow hairs than beard hairs so it hasn't been a major problem for me. go figure!
