    Dovo paste

Great paste, I used both pastes and got my straight razor shave ready. It was easy to apply both pastes to the strop.

I use these as directed first the red then the blue I found that works the best. I have tested both myself on two different blades.

Nothing Special, but Does the Job

This little pack contains two foil-wrapped, tiny bars of Dovo's two best known strop pastes, the red and the black. The red is the coarser of the two. Some say if you finish on a 12K hone you should skip the red paste altogether. I've heard others say you can use the red in place of a 12K hone, but I haven't found that to be true. The black is a bit finer and a linen strop treated with this paste is a useful stage of honing, between the stones and the leather strop. These days, the CrOx pastes and diamond pastes, and of course the sprays, are more "sexy" but many will find these bars of paste perfect for their needs.
